Logroño is the capital of the province and autonomous community of La Rioja, which has a renowned local wine industry.

The Ebro River, which is one of the largest rivers in Spain, runs through the city and for this reason, there are some bridges to cross it. The main and best-known bridge is the Puente de Piedra, one of the symbols of Logroño, where on weekends, it has colorful lighting at night to make it more beautiful and enchanting.

Without a shadow of a doubt, the most famous street in the city is Calle del Laurel, well known for its crowded bars. Each bar on this street has a specialty of "pincho" (typical food from Northern Spain, a small snack accompanied by a drink).
